The Chandleier, winner of the 2006 Award for Product Design inspired by Transport for London’s Design Heritage takes its inspiration from the ball ended strap handles, once found hanging within every tube train across the London Underground network.

The LED bulbs positioned directly above the handmade glass pendants can be easily programmed to change colour, illuminating the sandblasted detail, in turn representing each of the tube lines. The Chandleier can also be programmed using the radio controlled remote control to remain on any one of eight colours.
